This is one of several static displays that were available to the public to be able to see up close and in some instances get inside.  This was in addition to the air show acts to include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Over 200,000 people packed Homestead Air Reserve Base for the return of the hugely successful Wings Over Homestead Air Show on Nov. 7-8.

The public was treated to a 7-hour continuous flow of aerial performances and military aircraft tours on both days spanning multiple generations of aircraft from P-51 Mustangs to the B-2 Spirit Bomber.

Displays by the Aerostars and GEICO Skytypers demonstrated precision flying and acrobatic maneuvers. Other performances by the F/A-18 Hornet, F-15 Eagle and C-17 demonstration teams showed the power and might of the U.S. military.

Performers also staged search and rescue missions to demonstrate how the military operates in a simulated combat environment.
